Job DescriptionOverview
Forsyth Barnes are delighted to have partnered with a Global Sports Marketing Agency who are seeking a Partnership Sales Manager to drive new business growth by identifying, approaching, and closing sponsorship and partnership deals on behalf of leading sports clients and properties. This is a client-facing, commercially focused role for an ambitious professional with a strong track record in sales and business development within sports, media, or sponsorship industries.
Key Responsibilities·Lead Outreach & Pipeline: Manage outbound sales activity, develop targeted prospect lists, and build a robust pipeline of sponsorship opportunities.
·Client Acquisition: Research, approach, and pitch to prospective sponsors; prepare tailored presentations; negotiate and close contracts that align brands with sports properties.
·Market & Trend Analysis: Monitor industry developments, competitor activity, and market trends to inform outreach strategies and enhance the value proposition.
·Reporting & Communication: Deliver regular progress updates to senior leadership; maintain accurate CRM records; prepare reports, proposals, and client presentations.
·Team Leadership: Mentor junior staff and collaborate across the agency to support wider sales and client goals.
Requirements·Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; 3–5+ years of relevant sales experience (sports, media, or sponsorship preferred).
·Sales Performance: Proven ability to secure new sponsorship partners and consistently achieve revenue targets.
·Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills; confident pitching and relationship-building at C-suite level.
·Organization: Strong time management and project-handling skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
·Negotiation & Analysis: Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills; able to identify value and make data-driven decisions.
·Tech Savvy: Proficiency with CRM systems, sales tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
