Job DescriptionOur client seeks a meticulous Business Analyst to join the Durham programme office, focused on a wide-scale OT and wireless communications modernization effort. The successful candidate will partner with the Programme Manager to define the strategic approach, craft precise specifications, and contribute to early discovery and feasibility work that shapes the programme’s direction and timeline.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with the Programme Manager to outline scope and requirements for OT and UHF radio modernization projects.
- Create and validate technical specifications that translate telecom concepts into actionable tasks for engineering teams.
- Support discovery and feasibility artifacts, ensuring alignment with programme goals and regulatory expectations.
- Engage diverse stakeholders across operations, safety, and technology to secure clear, auditable requirements.
- Enable evidence-led decision making by capturing, analysing, and reporting on essential metrics.
Requirements- Background in wireless communications projects within OT environments is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of telecommunications or wireless technologies (including 5G) is advantageous.
- Proven proficiency in drafting technical specifications and supporting documentation.
- Strong ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
