Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated Digital Marketing Analyst to join a high-performing digital team. This role will be responsible for leading web analytics strategy, supporting digital campaign measurement, and ensuring accurate data capture across multiple company-owned digital platforms.
As the primary point of contact for website performance analytics and user behaviour insights, you will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the business. You will collaborate with marketing, technology, digital experience teams, and external partners to improve tracking capabilities, optimise reporting, and ensure the integrity of the analytics environment.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of digital analytics, Google Analytics, data reporting, stakeholder management, and project coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the definition and implementation of web analytics strategies, measurement frameworks, and key performance metrics.
Partner with digital, technology, and marketing teams to identify analytics requirements and support optimisation initiatives.
Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to define campaign measurement, tracking requirements, and implementation priorities.
Manage campaign tracking processes, including URL creation and performance measurement.
Act as the primary liaison for analytics vendors, managing workloads, priorities, and implementation timelines.
Own and prioritise the analytics backlog, ensuring delivery aligns with business requirements.
Conduct quality assurance testing following analytics implementations and enhancements.
Perform regular tagging audits and data integrity checks to maintain the accuracy and reliability of analytics data.
Identify tracking gaps, technical issues, and optimisation opportunities, including cross-domain tracking and configuration improvements.
Create performance dashboards and ad-hoc reports using visualisation tools such as Google Looker Studio.
Develop best-practice documentation and deliver training sessions to improve analytics capability across the wider organisation.
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Analytics, or a related discipline.
3–5+ years of experience in digital marketing, web analytics, or a related analytical role.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Google Analytics (GA4 and/or Universal Analytics).
Experience with campaign tracking, tagging strategies, and website analytics implementation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Digital, IT, and external partners.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to stakeholders at different levels.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently within a fast-paced environment.
