Position Summary

The Principal Engineer will own the technical blueprint for a rapidly growing fintech ecosystem. You will shape architectural standards, establish governance for code and quality, and drive delivery excellence across multiple products. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep software engineering expertise, a strategic view, and the capacity to deliver complex, regulated systems. The engagement is on a contractual basis in the UAE with periodic travel as necessary.

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable Go microservices that support core fintech functions.
• Set and propagate engineering policies, patterns, and best practices across squads to ensure consistency and quality.
• Craft robust REST and asynchronous APIs with end-to-end testing and validation strategies.
• Adopt event-driven design to enable reliable, low-latency data exchange among services.
• Influence technical direction across a product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.
