Job DescriptionThe Production Manager will steward the end-to-end manufacturing process in Loughborough, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations. You will guide daily production activities, balance resource allocation, and drive improvements that align with budget and schedule targets. Collaboration across departments—engineering, procurement, logistics, and quality—will be essential to sustain output and elevate performance.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate daily production plans and resources to meet critical milestones.
- Assure product quality and regulatory compliance through rigorous oversight of processes and standards.
- Lead lean and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at waste reduction, throughput gains, and cycle-time optimization.
- Plan and optimize maintenance schedules to minimize unplanned downtime and extend equipment life.
- Establish, monitor, and communicate KPIs to hold teams accountable and inform strategic decisions.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to streamline material flows and boost line efficiency.
Requirements- Proven leadership in manufacturing within textiles, furniture, or related sectors.
- Expertise in production planning, scheduling, and lean methodologies.
