We are seeking a strategic Director of Data & Analytics to lead the data roadmap for a fast-growing software company in the BI space. This external role requires an experienced senior data professional who can own end-to-end data architecture, data quality, and analytics enablement while operating with executive-level influence. The incumbent will partner closely with product, marketing, and engineering leaders to translate business questions into data-enabled decisions, define KPI ecosystems, and shepherd data initiatives from ideation through delivery. The role emphasizes ownership of the data layer, campaign management/optimization, and serving as a SME to identify gaps and drive closure.

• Lead the design and governance of data architecture, ensuring data quality, lineage, and accessibility across the organization.
• Own the data platform roadmap, including data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics delivery.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business questions into scalable analytics outcomes and measurable KPIs.
• Drive maturity in data practices, analytics enablement, and data-driven decision making at scale.
• Lead data governance and ensure compliance with relevant privacy and security standards.
• Mentor and collaborate with data engineers and analysts to accelerate delivery and elevate capabilities.

• 15+ years in data, analytics, or related fields with a track record of data strategy and platform leadership.
• Experience guiding data architecture, governance, and analytics product development.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with the ability to influence at the executive level.
• Proven ability to translate complex business questions into data-driven solutions and actionable insights.
• Experience in software, SaaS, or BI space highly preferred.
