• Detect, investigate, and coordinate timely response to security events in collaboration with an external MSSP
• Perform Level 2 analysis, escalate to senior engineers when warranted, and document findings
• Support formal incident response activities, root cause assessments, and post-incident reviews
• Tune detections, refine alerting logic, and nurture security monitoring capabilities
• Maintain cross-site awareness and alignment for distributed teams and remote colleagues

• Experience as a SOC Analyst or Cyber Security Analyst at Level 2 equivalent within a large-scale security operation
• Proven background in enterprise security operations and SOC workflows
• Experience managing or partnering with an MSSP in a regulated, multi-site environment
• Strong investigative mindset with solid analytical capabilities
• Resilience to moderate alert volumes and bias toward action to reduce fatigue
• Ability to operate autonomously within a globally dispersed, time-zone-spread team
