Job DescriptionWe are collaborating with our client to recruit a Vice President of E-commerce who will lead their digital retail strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating e-commerce efforts with broader organizational goals, optimizing online performance, and driving revenue through various digital channels. This pivotal role calls for an innovative leader with extensive digital marketing experience and robust analytical capabilities to assess the effectiveness of e-commerce initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aimed at facilitating growth and revenue increase.
- Examine market trends and consumer behavior to discover opportunities for growth and enhance the customer experience.
- Oversee the e-commerce platform’s design and development, ensuring a frictionless user journey.
- Work in tandem with marketing, sales, and IT teams to align online and offline strategies effectively.
- Track key performance indicators and utilize data analytics to refine performance and meet financial objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing e-commerce team.
- Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to enhance service quality and pricing.
Requirements- Demonstrated experience in a senior e-commerce role, ideally within the manufacturing or electronics sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies and techniques.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to convert data insights into actionable plans.
- Proven record of increasing online sales and enhancing customer engagement.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
