We are collaborating with this organization to find an accomplished Enterprise Technical Architect who will be instrumental in defining the enterprise architecture strategy for the Group's omnichannel retail and digital commerce platforms. This crucial role is based in Dubai and will significantly influence the alignment of technology investments with business growth and operational excellence.

• Define and manage the enterprise architecture strategy to unify omnichannel retail and digital platforms across various regions.
• Design and select essential infrastructure for storage, data centers, and client/server environments, serving as a point of escalation for global infrastructure solutions.
• Convert business objectives into detailed architecture roadmaps that encourage technology investments to foster growth and enhance operational performance.
• Direct the design and ongoing management of a comprehensive architecture that incorporates ecommerce, OMS, ERP, CRM, POS, CMS, Loyalty, PIM, and AI systems.
• Provide authoritative technical leadership in areas such as microservices, domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, cloud-native approaches, and advanced engineering practices.
• Ensure architectural consistency with engineering, product, and data teams, maintaining adherence to performance targets and security standards.
• Lead the architectural efforts for significant transformation initiatives, ensuring successful delivery with respect to KPIs, approved budgets, timelines, and SLAs.
• Promote DevOps, CI/CD, and automation methods across development teams, enhancing engineering maturity, visibility, and risk management strategies.
• Develop and manage the AI and data architecture strategy, integrating large language models, personalization mechanisms, dynamic pricing, and intelligent search solutions into the commerce ecosystem.
• Oversee enterprise data pipelines, real-time analytics, and streaming architectures while ensuring compliance with GDPR, ISO standards, and security policies.
• Architect API-first and event-driven integration strategies using Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, or Kafka technologies.
• Guide the direction of cloud architecture (with Azure as the preferred platform), focusing on cost efficiency, resilience, disaster recovery, and best practices in security.
• Establish and enforce security, performance, and availability standards in accordance with frameworks like OAuth2.0, SSO, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
• Recruit, mentor, and assess team members to build a skilled and motivated workforce that enhances their contributions and potential.

• Demonstrated experience in enterprise architecture, ideally within the retail or consumer services industries.
• Strong proficiency in cloud architecture, with a preference for Azure.
• Extensive knowledge of microservices, domain-driven design, and event-driven architecture.
• Ability to translate intricate technical concepts into actionable strategic business plans.
• Exemplary leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of API-first approaches and integration strategies.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR and PCI-DSS.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
