Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to steer the creation and deployment of real-time AI workflows within clinical environments. The role blends hands-on model development with operational responsibility to ensure low latency, reliability, and safe AI-assisted decision support. Collaboration spans data science, product, and clinical operations to translate concepts into production-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities- design and rollout real-time AI processes for clinical tasks such as summarization, chart review, and care planning
- tune low-latency models and services for live decision making
- partner with product and engineering to embed AI into telehealth and care-delivery pipelines
- establish and track operational metrics related to physician productivity, visit duration, and capacity
- oversee production AI systems for performance, reliability, and patient safety
- implement human-in-the-loop mechanisms and incorporate clinician feedback into models
- identify opportunities to streamline operations and automate manual tasks
- collaborate with clinical, product, and engineering stakeholders across the organization
- champion responsible AI practices within healthcare settings
Requirements- demonstrated history building and deploying production ML/AI systems
- proficient with Python and SQL and experience handling large-scale data
- experience with LLMs, agent-based systems, or real-time AI applications
- exposure to healthcare data or clinical workflows is highly desirable
- strong grasp of model monitoring, evaluation, and performance in production
- excellent communication with both technical and non-technical audiences
- comfort functioning in fast-paced, high-growth environments
