We are seeking a seasoned UI designer to craft cohesive, mobile-first interfaces and efficient workflows for this organization’s product suite. The engagement is structured as a contractor role with an emphasis on rapid onboarding and delivery, accelerating product cycles and AI initiatives. You will translate complex requirements into intuitive visuals, manage handoffs to development, and produce static and interactive assets that support ongoing product development.

• Architect mobile-first interfaces for iOS and Android, prioritizing clear information architecture and responsive behavior across devices.
• Convert user needs and business objectives into tangible design outcomes, working closely with a development team responsible for implementation.
• Design AI-enabled interfaces and interaction patterns to support an AI-driven product line while safeguarding usability.
• Generate design assets for rapid iteration, including wireframes, high-fidelity screens, and a component library aligned with brand standards.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and research to validate concepts through usability testing and user feedback.
• Refine processes to improve efficiency, including design systems, documentation, and scalable patterns for current and future work.

• Proven expertise in mobile-first design for iOS and Android with strong responsive capabilities.
• Experience with React-based design workflows and handoffs; familiarity with React ecosystems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Claude or comparable AI tooling to inform AI-driven experiences.
• Effective communicator capable of presenting design rationales to cross-functional teams.
• Ability to operate autonomously in a contracted capacity with a track record of on-time, high-quality delivery.
