Job DescriptionWe are searching for a Software Engineer to join a growth‑minded team in New York City. The role encompasses building and deploying resilient software that powers the core marketplace, partner integrations, and critical platform services. You will partner with product and design colleagues to translate ideas into maintainable code, delivering features that boost reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Create and refine features that support on‑demand matching, payments, and task execution within a dynamic marketplace.
- Develop scalable APIs and microservices with an emphasis on security, latency, and resilience.
- Work with cross‑functional teams to define sprint scopes, acceptance criteria, and delivery milestones.
- Advance testing approaches, participate in code reviews, and uphold continuous integration practices.
- Guide junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements- B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related field; substantial practical experience accepted in lieu of formal degree.
- Proficiency in at least one contemporary language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or Node.js).
- Experience designing and operating scalable systems, API ecosystems, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong analytical and communication skills; adept at collaboration in a fast‑moving environment.
- Familiarity with modern development methodologies (CI/CD, testing, code review processes).
