The Data Migration Design Lead will direct complex migration programs from legacy data stores to cutting-edge platforms. This executive-level design role emphasizes architectural foresight, governance rigor, and program-level alignment. You will collaborate with data architects, product leads, and engineering squads to convert business goals into actionable migration blueprints, establish governance norms, and steer outcomes at scale.

• Craft enterprise migration frameworks and reference patterns that ensure consistency, quality, and repeatability across initiatives.
• Own the end-to-end design of sizable data migration efforts, including source-to-target mapping, data cleansing, and transformation logic.
• Embed governance, security, and compliance considerations into migration pipelines while balancing speed with risk tolerance.
• Work with diverse teams to align migration plans with product roadmaps and operational feasibility.
• Coach engineers and analysts, disseminating best practices in data stewardship and migration engineering.

• 10+ years delivering data migrations or equivalent, with a proven history of steering large-scale programs.
• Expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and data quality frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data integration tools.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to communicate complex concepts to varied audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership across multi-disciplinary, multi-team programs.
