Job DescriptionThe Senior Data Scientist – Computer Vision will lead development and operationalisation of vision-based systems that solve inspection, automation, and logistics problems for bottling operations. The role owns the full model lifecycle from data acquisition and annotation through model training, deployment, and production monitoring. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering, operations, and external vendors to ensure models integrate into both edge devices and cloud services and produce measurable improvements in quality and throughput.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Implement Computer Vision Models For Defect Detection, Label Verification, And Tracking.
- Lead Data Collection Strategies, Annotation Standards, And Dataset Management.
- Conduct Experiments, Benchmark Models, And Establish Performance Baselines.
- Deploy And Optimize Models For Edge And Cloud Inference.
- Set Up Monitoring, Alerts, And Retraining Pipelines To Maintain Production Performance.
- Integrate Vision Outputs With Control Systems, Dashboards, And Operational Workflows.
- Mentor Engineers And Data Scientists On Best Practices And Model Governance.
- Communicate Technical Findings To Business Stakeholders And Measure Business Impact.
Requirements- Minimum Of Five Years Experience In Computer Vision Or Applied Machine Learning With Production Deployments.
- Expertise With Deep Learning Frameworks Such As PyTorch Or TensorFlow And Model Optimization Tools (Onnx, TensorRT).
- Proven Skills In Image Processing, Augmentation Techniques, And Annotation Tools.
- Experience Deploying Models To Edge Hardware And Optimizing For Latency And Memory.
- Familiarity With MLOps Practices Including CI/CD For Models, Monitoring, And Automated Retraining.
- Proven Ability To Translate Business Challenges Into Technical Solutions With Quantified Outcomes.
- Strong Communication Skills For Cross-Functional Collaboration And Executive Reporting.
- Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or Equivalent; Advanced Degree Preferred.
