about the roleAbout Us
Our client is a leading commercial real estate data and analytics business, backed by top-tier institutional investors and operating at the forefront of transaction intelligence. For over a decade, they have built a proprietary data platform that delivers verified lease and sales comparables across office, industrial and retail assets.
Unlike traditional SaaS providers, this is fundamentally a data business. Their value lies in the depth, accuracy and delivery of their dataset - distributed via platform access, APIs and direct data feeds to investors, lenders, private equity firms, advisory businesses and other market participants.
With strong brand recognition, an established client base and a scrappy, high-performing culture, they are continuing to take market share in a space historically dominated by much larger incumbents.
Job DescriptionOur client is hiring a Senior Account Executive to join their Enterprise New Business team in New York.
This is a true hunter role focused on winning new logos and building a meaningful book of business. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging and closing senior stakeholders across commercial real estate investment firms, lenders, private equity and advisory businesses.
This position sits within a high-visibility team and offers the opportunity to sell a genuinely differentiated, proprietary product into a well-defined and highly relevant market. It is ideal for someone who understands how to sell data - not just software - and who thrives in competitive environments.
Key Responsibilities· Drive new business revenue through proactive prospecting and strategic account penetration
· Sell data solutions via platform access, APIs and data feeds depending on client needs
· Engage C-level and senior decision makers across commercial real estate and financial institutions
· Build and manage a robust pipeline with accurate forecasting
· Develop deep understanding of client business models and position data as a strategic advantage
· Compete effectively against established market incumbents
· Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including leadership and client success
· Contribute to territory and go-to-market strategy as the business continues to scale
Requirements· 7-8+ years of experience in B2B sales with a strong focus on new logo acquisition
· Experience selling data products, analytics or complex technology solutions
· Commercial real estate industry exposure strongly preferred
· Demonstrated success managing and exceeding a $1m+ new business quota
· Experience selling into senior decision makers within investment firms, lenders or CRE operators
· Strong understanding of the difference between SaaS and data-led sales models
· Highly self-motivated, resilient and comfortable operating in a competitive landscape
· Based in New York and willing to work in the office 4 days per week
OtherThis is a business where performance is rewarded and new business hunters thrive. The team is lean, collaborative and ambitious. If you are confident in your ability to build pipeline, close enterprise deals and double your earnings through performance, this could be an exceptional opportunity to join a respected data platform at the right stage of growth.
