Job DescriptionWe are collaborating with this organisation to identify a Global Head of Sales, whose role will be pivotal in implementing and executing a global sales strategy. This senior position may also be referred to as VP of Global Sales & Growth, Chief Commercial Officer, or by different titles based on seniority. This leader will take charge of a global commercial team consisting of 10-12 direct reports, overseeing sales, e-commerce efforts in conjunction with a marketing lead, and the development of B2B partnerships aimed at discovering new revenue streams. This role emphasises the importance of cross-functional collaboration with the Product and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on market entry strategies and revenue innovation.
In this position, the successful candidate will be expected to explore and define new avenues for growth, cultivating a culture of ambition, testing new ideas, and facilitating global teamwork. The commercial function spans a global network of 20-30 team members, reports to C-suite executives, and closely collaborates with colleagues in Germany (Berlin HQt, with a flexible working arrangement and occasional presence in Berlin recommended for enhanced collaboration and integration.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a global commercial team of 10-12 direct reports across various operational domains, including Sales, E-commerce, and Business Development.
Collaborate with Product and Marketing leaders to synchronize go-to-market strategies and drive revenue growth.
Innovate and challenge existing business paradigms by defining sustainable growth models.
Promote an organisational culture characterized by ambition, experimentation, and collaboration across international teams.
Requirements- A proven track record in senior sales leadership roles within scalable businesses, preferably in entertainment, e-commerce, or creative technology sectors.
- Strong strategic mindset complemented by hands-on management experience.
- Experience in the music tech industry or related fields such as gaming, creative software, or consumer electronics.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
