Job DescriptionThe Data Engineer will hold a critical position, focusing on the design and upkeep of data pipelines used for the extraction, transformation, and loading of information essential for analysis and reporting. This role demands strong technical skills in managing sophisticated data architectures and working alongside cross-functional teams to guarantee data accuracy and availability.
Key Responsibilities- Craft, develop, and sustain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to accommodate diverse analytical and reporting requirements.
- Work in collaboration with data analysts and stakeholders to gather data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Oversee and refine the performance of existing data solutions, ensuring dependability and scalability.
- Adopt best practices in data governance to maintain data integrity and security.
- Execute data quality assessments and troubleshooting as necessary to ensure continuous data availability for business needs.
Requirements- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- A record of success as a Data Engineer or in a comparable position.
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop or Spark.
- Background in data warehousing solutions and dimensional modeling.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python or Java.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure, is advantageous.
- Strong analytical abilities coupled with a problem-solving mindset.
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
