Job DescriptionThe Application Development Manager is a key position responsible for directing technological progress and managing application development initiatives across our client’s operations. This role necessitates a combination of leadership, creativity, and technical knowledge to ensure that all development activities are in sync with the organization’s broader goals and strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and oversee application development projects from initial conception through to implementation, ensuring that they are delivered on schedule and meet established quality benchmarks.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and transform them into effective technical solutions.
- Lead a team of developers, offering guidance and support to nurture professional development and maintain high performance.
- Assess and recommend innovative tools and technologies to streamline application development processes and enhance efficiency.
- Track the performance of applications and implement necessary enhancements to address changing business requirements.
- Communicate with stakeholders to provide progress updates and solicit input for ongoing improvements.
Requirements- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in application development and project management, preferably within a retail or comparable setting.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of motivating and guiding teams.
- In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python, alongside a familiarity with web technologies.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
