Job DescriptionThis organization is in search of a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join its vibrant Product Analytics team within the Enterprise Data Science and Analytics division. The primary focus of this role is to critically evaluate the impact and effectiveness of various products designed to facilitate the home buying and selling experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities and the skill to transform complex data into engaging stories that drive informed decision-making. As a key ally to product stakeholders, this role will involve conducting in-depth analyses and utilizing innovative measurement methodologies, including A/B testing, to assess product performance. This position is vital in ensuring the successful deployment of new features within the Online Store, examining funnel performance, and providing valuable insights that support the product team’s initiatives. The Product Analytics team plays a strategic role in tracking and advancing the organization’s progress toward achieving essential objectives and key results.
Key Responsibilities- Performance Insights and Reporting: Act as the main point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate product performance. Probe into metrics discrepancies to extract meaningful insights that can enhance business results.
- In-Depth Analytical Techniques: Employ advanced techniques such as statistical modeling and machine learning to appraise product efficacy and user engagement, leading to impactful recommendations.
- Opportunity Assessment: Conduct forecasting and opportunity sizing to assist stakeholders in navigating the implications of product strategy changes.
- Strategic Collaboration: Develop close partnerships with product teams and data specialists to improve the organization’s data infrastructure and visualization capabilities.
- Engagement Monitoring: Manage visitor engagement and conversion success by tracking relevant metrics and developing new performance indicators as necessary.
- Analytical Best Practices: Cultivate relationships with analytics teams across the organization to share best practices and enhance analytic methodologies.
- Quantitative Assessments: Execute detailed analyses and create ad hoc reports to identify trends in product engagement and conversion metrics.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, or Economics.
- 2-5+ years of pertinent experience in data analysis, focusing on resolving business queries.
- Experience with assessing product feature performance is highly preferred.
- Background in consumer subscription services is advantageous.
- Proficient in SQL with some familiarity in Python or R as a plus.
- Experience with digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics is greatly preferred.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Shiny, or Streamlit.
- Experience in cloud-based data platforms, especially AWS and Snowflake.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot table and vlookup proficiency.
- Understanding fundamental statistical concepts related to experimentation and analysis.
- Ability to think strategically and analyze product performance metrics, including conversion funnels.
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, along with experience presenting to varied audiences.
- Capability to flourish in a remote, fast-paced work setting.
