Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join our client's Paris-based team. This senior individual contributor role focuses on shaping scalable ML systems and driving cross-functional impact across product, data science, and engineering functions. You will lead architectural discussions, set high standards for model reliability, and mentor engineers to raise the bar for production-grade AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Architect and steward end-to-end ML solutions that power core product features and efficiency initiatives.
- Define and enforce best practices for data collection, labeling, experimentation, and model deployment.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and platform teams to translate business goals into measurable machine-learning outcomes.
- Lead code reviews and contribute to a culture of robust engineering discipline and observability.
- Mentor and grow a team of ML engineers, fostering career development and technical excellence.
Requirements- Extensive hands-on experience building production-grade ML systems in domains relevant to fintech, including risk, fraud, and customer analytics.
- Proficiency in modern ML frameworks and tools (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and strong software engineering background (CI/CD, testing, observability).
- Experience delivering large-scale models and pipelines with robust monitoring and governance.
- Excellent collaboration skills across disciplines and clear communication with stakeholders and leadership.
- Track record of technical leadership and mentoring in ML/AI environments.
