Digitally native bedding brand is looking to hire its first Purchasing Manager. The Purchasing Manager will manage a diverse assortment of SKUs across multiple categories, working in close partnership with planning and sales teams to ensure that purchasing strategies respond to real-time consumer demand. The role demands oversight of inventory levels to support sales growth, minimizing the risk of overstock, while fostering solid supplier relationships to ensure high-quality materials and timely deliveries.

• Formulate and execute procurement strategies that are in line with sales forecasts, product launches, and seasonal demand variations.
• Manage and forecast inventory requirements for a growing assortment of SKUs.
• Collaborate with Planning and Sales teams to assess performance, synchronize forecasts, and adapt purchasing plans accordingly.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate lead times, and track supplier performance.
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of data and timely delivery.
• Continuously monitor inventory health to avoid excess stock while preventing stockouts.

• At least 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory planning, particularly within the direct-to-consumer textile, bedding, or apparel industries.
• Successful track record of managing complex SKU assortments across diverse product categories.
• Strong analytical and forecasting skills with proficiency in handling large datasets in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience using ERP systems, such as Bright Pearl or similar technologies.
• Proficient in working with international suppliers, including those based in Asia, India, and Pakistan.
• Exemplary communication skills and a collaborative spirit; proven ability to succeed in a remote working environment.
