Job DescriptionThe Project Manager position is an essential role within this organization, presented as a 12-month fixed-term contract with a competitive salary in the range of £75,000 to £80,000. The primary focus of this role is to lead various finance-related business projects, encompassing areas such as credit control, bank reconciliation, and service charge management. A significant aspect of this position will be to drive the automation of manual processes to improve operational effectiveness.
While having a finance background is not a prerequisite, candidates must possess strong project management capabilities and the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously, typically managing between two to three at a time.
The organization is eager to commence the hiring process immediately, seeking to collect CVs by mid-next week, with interviews anticipated towards the end of next week.
Key Responsibilities- Direct the planning and execution of finance-centric projects to ensure alignment with project scope, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement automation solutions for existing manual procedures, driving enhanced efficiency.
- Track project milestones and modify plans as necessary to maintain project trajectories.
- Provide ongoing communication to stakeholders, delivering updates and managing project expectations.
- Guarantee that all project documentation is precise and finalized in a timely manner.
Requirements- Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager, successfully overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
- Exceptional leadership and organizational abilities, capable of inspiring teams and engaging stakeholders effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to operate independently while contributing to a larger team dynamic.
