Job DescriptionThey are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Product Owner to join their growing product team. This is a key role driving the delivery of new initiatives across their platform, ensuring alignment between client needs, business objectives, and technical execution.
You’ll own the backlog for core product areas, define clear acceptance criteria, and ensure that development teams have the clarity and context needed for successful delivery. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of OTC derivatives, strong analytical and communication skills, and a proven ability to operate in fast-paced, agile environments.
Key Responsibilities· Translate product strategy into well-defined initiatives, epics, and user stories
· Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity on requirements and business value
· Lead regular sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions with development teams
· Collaborate cross-functionally to manage dependencies and ensure timely project execution
· Assess and communicate the impact of initiatives on client experience and business outcomes
· Produce detailed documentation, including release notes and product descriptions
· Present product updates and new functionality to stakeholders across the organization
Requirements· 10+ years of professional experience in Product or Project Management within financial services
· Strong understanding of interest rate and FX derivatives
· Proven experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into business context
· Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, focused on delivering client value
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
