Job DescriptionThe Head of New Account Acquisition will lead enterprise new-business initiatives focused on data, analytics and generative AI solutions. This senior role owns end-to-end pursuit of new logos, crafts vertical-specific go-to-market strategies, and converts executive-level relationships into multi-year partnerships. Success will be measured by net-new revenue, average deal size, win rate against targeted accounts, and market penetration in priority sectors. The role requires strategic oversight of the sales process combined with hands-on hunting to accelerate pipeline growth and institutionalise repeatable sales motions.
Key Responsibilities- Define and implement a targeted new-account acquisition strategy for enterprise data, analytics and generative AI offerings.
- Identify and pursue high-value enterprise opportunities across Financial Services, Health Sciences, and Retail & CPG.
- Develop executive-level relationships with CDOs, CIOs and CTOs to influence strategic initiatives and procurement decisions.
- Create and refine a repeatable go-to-market playbook and sales methodologies for consistent conversion.
- Recruit, mentor and scale a high-performance hunting sales team focused on enterprise wins.
- Coordinate with marketing and delivery to produce tailored proposals, case studies and executive briefings.
- Manage pipeline forecasting, deal prioritisation and resource allocation to maximise ROI.
- Establish strategic alliances and post-sale governance to secure long-term account value.
Requirements- 12+ years of enterprise sales experience within data, analytics, AI or digital consulting environments.
- Documented success acquiring new enterprise logos and closing multi-million dollar deals.
- Proven experience engaging and influencing C-suite executives and procurement stakeholders.
- Track record of building and scaling sales teams with measurable quota attainment.
- Deep familiarity with data management, analytics platforms and generative AI concepts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly to meet prospective clients and attend industry events.
