We are seeking a strategic technology executive to join this organization in Dubai as Chief Technology Officer. The role guides the technology roadmap, architectural discipline, and delivery of fintech and banking-grade applications. The incumbent will establish standards for security, reliability, and performance while translating intricate regulatory and business imperatives into scalable, future-ready solutions. The CTO will empower engineering teams through mentorship, governance, and disciplined agile execution to drive sustainable value delivery.

• Define and champion the technology vision aligned with the business strategy, covering platform architecture, data governance, and security posture.
• Steer cross-functional engineering groups to deliver scalable, banking-grade software and fintech services.
• Institute robust engineering governance, including coding standards, architectural review processes, and release governance.
• Oversee performance optimization across JVM ecosystems, messaging layers, and data platforms for real-time analytics.
• Lead containerization efforts and orchestrated deployments, ensuring resilient CI/CD practices and secure release management.
• Cultivate a culture of coaching, career progression, and performance excellence across tech teams.
• Convert regulatory and business requirements into durable technical roadmaps and scalable architectures.
• Advocate for agile maturity and Scrum practices to ensure timely feature delivery and platform enhancements.

• 15+ years in hands-on software development with a strong emphasis on Java and Spring Boot.
• 8+ years in leadership, guiding engineering teams, ideally within fintech or financial services.
• Proven experience building financial systems, payment rails, or banking-grade platforms.
• Expertise in event-driven architectures and real-time messaging systems.
• Proficiency with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure) and version control tools (Git, Bitbucket).
• Deep knowledge of JVM internals, performance tuning, and garbage collection optimization.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, distributed systems, caching (Redis), and data streaming.
• Hands-on experience configuring CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and modern deployment paradigms.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills with a focus on mentorship and team development.
