Job DescriptionThe Bus role will lead business architecture and systems alignment for cross-functional ERP and operational programmes, ensuring processes, capabilities and operating models deliver measurable efficiency and compliance outcomes. The postholder will define target state designs, translate strategy into implementation roadmaps and govern design decisions across finance, supply chain and operations domains. Success is measured by coherent designs, timely delivery of change initiatives and demonstrable improvements in cost, service and risk profiles.
Key Responsibilities- Define and maintain end-to-end business architecture and operating models for assigned domains.
- Translate strategic objectives into phased roadmaps and priority initiatives.
- Govern cross‑functional design decisions and ensure traceability across projects.
- Collaborate with IT and enterprise architects to align technical solutions to business requirements.
- Evaluate change proposals and build business cases with cost, benefit and risk assessments.
- Lead and coach business analysts to produce consistent, high‑quality requirements and process models.
- Manage stakeholder engagement and secure approvals from senior sponsors.
- Monitor programme value realisation and adjust roadmaps to protect benefits delivery.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in business architecture, business analysis or ERP delivery roles.
- Proven experience across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement or HR system transformations.
- Strong knowledge of business architecture frameworks, process modelling and solution design techniques.
- Demonstrable experience producing business cases, roadmaps and governance artefacts.
- Track record of stakeholder management at executive and operational levels.
- Experience leading or mentoring cross‑discipline teams and managing delivery through third parties.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and problem‑solving skills.
- Flexibility to travel to Horley and other sites as required; valid driving licence preferred.
