We are collaborating with a prominent national retailer-owned organization in the grocery retail sector, focused on recruiting a driven Transportation Technology Manager. In this key position, you will guide a dynamic team of over 20 associates, dedicated to the design, development, and execution of an innovative Transportation Management System (TMS). The goal is to enhance operational efficiency and capacity within the supply chain, making significant contributions to logistics solutions. As the Transportation Technology Manager, you will be instrumental in defining the organization’s transportation strategy. Your role encompasses leading the comprehensive design, execution, and continuous enhancement of a robust Transportation Management System. Engaging with advanced supply chain technologies will be a critical part of your duties, ensuring these systems are scalable and perpetually refined to address the evolving market demands. This strategic position requires adept utilization of data metrics and advanced analytics to elevate service levels, optimize costs, and ensure compliance across transportation networks.

• Direct the architecture, execution, and ongoing development of the Transportation Management System (TMS) and essential supply chain technologies to bolster operational productivity.
• Leverage data analysis and automation to enhance service efficacy, reduce operational costs, maintain regulatory adherence, and improve the overall performance of transportation logistics whether on-premises or in cloud environments.
• Oversee and mentor a skilled team of engineers, developers, and analysts while fostering productive collaborations with internal technical teams and external logistics partners.
• Remain at the forefront of emerging trends such as artificial intelligence and blockchain technology to inform strategic decisions and uphold the security and efficiency of transportation technology systems.
• Manage budgeting, strategic planning, recruitment, and performance evaluations. Clearly present initiatives and strategic insights to executive leadership, fostering strong relationships with C-suite stakeholders to align technological advancements with organizational goals.

• Demonstrated expertise in transportation management systems, with a strong foundation in logistics operations, multimodal shipping, and compliance, particularly within the grocery, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or wholesale industries.
• Hands-on experience with Kaleris TMS is highly valued, along with familiarity in other platforms such as Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP, or Oracle.
• Robust understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder) is advantageous.
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams, aligning solutions with business objectives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, particularly concerning data-driven enhancements.
• Exceptional collaboration abilities across departments and stakeholder engagement skills at all organizational levels. Willingness to work in-office as required, with occasional travel to distribution centers.

• A lucrative compensation structure featuring a base salary of $200,000, augmented by performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
