Job DescriptionOur client is searching for an accomplished Lead BI Developer who will be instrumental in enhancing reporting and governance within a hub-and-spoke framework. This role necessitates a combination of hands-on technical skills and strategic oversight to develop impactful dashboards using Sigma or equivalent business intelligence tools. The selected candidate will manage BI content effectively and work collaboratively across diverse business units to ensure that high-quality, consistent insights are delivered.
Key Responsibilities- Design and maintain scalable, user-friendly dashboards and reports in Sigma or similar BI platforms that drive impactful decision-making.
- Lead governance initiatives by establishing ownership structures, enforcing rigorous development standards, and coordinating efforts across both centralized and decentralized teams.
- Engage with business leaders to ensure alignment of BI initiatives with strategic goals, enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing redundancy.
- Provide training and support to empower business users while managing a reliable portfolio of BI assets.
- Continuously enhance the BI strategy and processes to improve the quality of insights, operational efficiency, and overall user satisfaction.
Requirements- More than 6 years of hands-on experience in the design and implementation of dashboards and reports using Sigma or other comparable BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Demonstrated success in cultivating and overseeing BI governance frameworks, especially in decentralized or federated environments.
- Proficient in SQL with a solid understanding of modern cloud data warehouse solutions including Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to balance user training and governance best practices.
- A background in retail, supply chain, or operations analytics is highly desirable, providing essential context to BI solutions.
