Job DescriptionAbout the Role
This organization is looking for a talented Principal Data Scientist to take the lead in developing and enhancing AI Systems for personalized customer experiences in the digital retail space. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in ensuring these experiences are engaging and tailored to the preferences of individual customers. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise and a strategic vision for overseeing complex, real-time personalization AI systems. This position is available in San Francisco, Pleasanton, or Dallas.
Key Responsibilities- Architect, refine, and sustain AI and Machine Learning models aimed at boosting customer personalization, while conducting thorough performance evaluations.
- Design and implement innovative software algorithms and automated processes for the integration, cleaning, and analysis of large, diverse data sets.
- Engage in data manipulation across various domains, working in tandem with other data scientists and engineers to build efficient data pipelines.
- Articulate clear and actionable insights derived from extensive data analyses to various stakeholders.
- Contribute to key strategic initiatives and ensure their successful deployment within the organization.
- Manage planning, budget oversight, and realize outcomes, while establishing guidelines and strategic direction for the team.
Requirements- Direct experience in creating real-time recommendation systems tailored for digital commerce.
- Advanced skills in programming languages such as R, Python, and Spark, as well as proficiency in SQL for effectively manipulating large datasets in both on-premises and cloud-based environments, including Azure.
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms and classic predictive modeling techniques (e.g., logistic regression, decision trees, and neural networks) accompanied by a proven track record of achieving impactful business results.
- Strong analytical skills that allow you to navigate complex data while synthesizing findings for actionable insights.
- Excellent collaboration abilities, with an aptitude for influencing product and analytics strategies across multidisciplinary teams.
- Competence in assessing intricate situations using various internal and external data sources.
- Apt at prioritizing and validating information to distill actionable insights, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of key concepts across multiple domains.
