I am currently hiring a hands-on Lead Business Intelligence Developer who splits time between building production BI (dashboards, metrics, data models) and leading a small team to deliver retail and supply-chain analytics that materially improve inventory, fulfillment, and merchandising decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain production dashboards and reports in Sigma (or comparable BI tools) that drive merchandising, replenishment, fulfillment, and store/online performance, hands-on delivery.
Own the end-to-end analytics lifecycle for supply-chain use cases: requirements, data modeling, metric design, dashboard delivery, and operational action.
Lead BI governance across centralized and federated teams: ownership matrices, access controls, development standards, peer review, and release processes.
Partner with merchandising, demand/inventory planning, logistics, and engineering to prioritize analytics work, translate business problems into measurable projects, and drive adoption.
Mentor and grow analysts/engineers, run hiring and performance processes, and enable business users through training, templates, and self-serve patterns while ensuring trusted BI assets.
Qualifications:
8-10 years in analytics/BI with strong hands-on dashboard development and 3+ years of people leadership (managing analysts/engineers or managers).
Expert SQL and analytic modeling skills; production experience building dashboards in Sigma (or similar tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI).
Practical experience with modern cloud analytics stacks (Snowflake) and analytics engineering practices/tools (dbt, Airflow, or equivalent).
Proven track record delivering retail and supply-chain analytics (inventory planning, forecast accuracy, allocation, OTIF) and implementing BI governance in federated environments.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication; able to set roadmaps/OKRs, measure impact, and balance hands-on delivery with strategic leadership.
