Job DescriptionIn the role of Senior IT QA Manager, you will be a key influencer within our client’s Technology division, emphasizing a strong commitment to the quality delivery of products and services. This position calls for a comprehensive understanding of various solution delivery lifecycles and robust QA processes tailored for software, data, and AI models within a dynamic DevOps setting. The successful candidate will inspire and lead cross-functional IT teams while driving a culture of excellence and innovation. They will be tasked with delivering transformative products that consistently exceed customer expectations and implementing comprehensive QA frameworks that uphold the highest standards of quality and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate and execute a holistic QA strategy that aligns with organizational priorities and adheres to industry-leading standards.
- Encourage a culture of quality across all levels of the organization, fostering collaboration and a proactive approach to quality assurance within a DevOps environment.
- Create and implement thorough testing strategies for software applications, addressing key areas such as functional, regression, performance, security, and usability, ensuring integration within CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, deploy, and manage the right testing tools and automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and testing coverage, ensuring smooth integration with DevOps processes.
- Establish and maintain data quality standards across all data pipelines and systems, incorporating quality checkpoints into DevOps methodologies.
- Design comprehensive validation checks and governance strategies for data quality, ensuring alignment with DevOps practices.
- Monitor data quality metrics, investigate anomalies, and lead root cause analysis in collaboration with DevOps teams to resolve infrastructure challenges.
- Define testing protocols for AI models, focusing on accuracy, bias detection, explainability, and fairness, integrating these evaluations into model deployment workflows.
- Create performance metrics and benchmarks for AI model assessment and ensure compliance with ethical AI principles, collaborating closely with data science and DevOps teams.
- Build, lead, and cultivate a high-performing QA team, providing mentorship and fostering a DevOps mindset.
- Collaborate with product management, software development, data science, and operations teams to ensure quality assurance is integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software quality, data quality, and AI model testing, particularly in relation to DevOps.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA processes, methodologies, and tools, leveraging automation and DevOps principles for optimal efficiency.
- Perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, utilizing standard office automation tools.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- An Associate's Degree plus 2 years of relevant experience in IT quality assurance, or a total of 4 years' experience if no post-secondary education is available.
- A minimum of 5 years in the IT quality assurance field.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 10%.
- Eligible to work on-site in Holland, MI.
- Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization for the USA.
