This role is responsible for driving strategic performance and optimization initiatives across the supply chain to support business growth, innovation, and operational excellence. The focus is on enhancing scalability, efficiency, and quality across both retail and online operations. The ideal candidate is a passionate, analytical, and customer-focused leader with experience in supply chain design and efficiency programs. They will lead short-term improvements, medium-term structural changes, and long-term innovation, collaborating cross-functionally to align strategies and deliver a world-class supply chain. The role demands strong leadership, independent initiative, and the ability to foster a high-performance culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Optimisation Strategy
Design and deliver a comprehensive supply chain optimisation roadmap.
Drive improvements in cost, quality, and speed across the network.
Align network capabilities with strategic business goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Finance, Retail, Logistics, IT, and other departments to identify and implement optimisation opportunities.
Facilitate performance reviews and workshops to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
Model and evaluate multiple network scenarios to support strategic decisions.
Innovation & Automation
Lead the integration of automation and digital tools to streamline operations.
Stay ahead of industry trends and implement best-in-class practices.
Oversee infrastructure projects and business continuity planning.
Performance Monitoring
Define and track KPIs to measure network performance.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Conduct deep dives into operational performance to identify opportunities.
Scalability & Growth Enablement
Ensure the network is resilient, flexible, and scalable.
Support long-term capacity planning and cost optimisation.
Align network design with our growth and innovation strategy.
RequirementsEssential Experience
Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years in supply chain optimisation or network design, ideally in retail.
Experience in omnichannel environments and operational roles (Planning, FMCG, etc.).
Strong understanding of planning, inventory, and execution.
Essential Skills
Exceptional project management and organisational skills.
Strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
High-energy, hands-on leadership style with a collaborative mindset.
Advanced Excel skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Desirable
Financial acumen and P&L experience.
Familiarity with tools like Tableau, Power BI, SAP APO/IBP.
Knowledge of sustainable supply chain practices.
Experience with Supply Chain Guru or similar planning tools.
