Job DescriptionWe are collaborating with this organization to seek a Director of Data Science and Analytics for the marketing department. This role is expected to be on a contract-to-hire basis, designed to provide support during the leave of current team members. The new hire will lead a dedicated team of around six to seven data scientists, with a managerial layer reporting directly to this position.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe essential responsibilities include overseeing the prioritization of intake processes, engaging with stakeholders to allocate team priorities, providing weekly performance summaries for the marketing function, performing root cause analyses, generating insights, and supporting key marketing initiatives, such as testing and budget adjustments in television and brand advertising.
RequirementsCandidates should demonstrate a strong proficiency in SQL and business intelligence tools like Tableau or Looker, along with excellent storytelling abilities for executive presentations.
Experience in managing data scientists focused on experimental processes and statistical accuracy is critical.
While familiarity with the real estate sector is not a prerequisite, experience within marketplace or technology-centric enterprises is advantageous.
