Job DescriptionWe are collaborating with this organization to identify a talented Director Lead BI Developer to join their pioneering team in New York. This hybrid role necessitates a strong onsite presence for three days each week, facilitating close collaboration with team members. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in SQL and Python, along with significant expertise in business intelligence, especially using Snowflake. A background in the retail sector, particularly in managing supply chain data, is crucial. This role demands a hands-on leadership approach, driving projects proactively while engaging with business stakeholders at a strategic level.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee business intelligence initiatives by guiding the strategic development and execution of data-driven strategies.
- Employ SQL and Python to conduct data analyses and deliver actionable insights.
- Manage project schedules and deliverables to ensure objectives are met within set timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of BI projects with organizational goals.
- Mentor and support team members in best BI practices and technology use.
- Engage with executive leadership to present BI insights and strategic recommendations.
Requirements- Demonstrable experience as a BI Developer or in a comparable role, ideally within the retail or fashion domains.
- Expertise in SQL and Python.
- Familiarity with Snowflake or equivalent data warehousing platforms.
- Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain data processes.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal capabilities.
- Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.
