Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our client’s retail operations team. This role supports cross-functional initiatives, spanning business process optimization and IT-led changes. The ideal candidate will bridge finance and operations, translating stakeholder needs into clear requirements and actionable deliverables. The position is structured as a hybrid arrangement: two days per week in Liverpool and three days remote. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders across finance, merchandising, and IT, with a focus on enabling efficient, compliant, and scalable processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead business process improvement initiatives and assess impact of IT changes
- Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders and the finance function to ensure alignment
- Translate complex requirements into functional specifications and testable acceptance criteria
- Support data-driven decision making through targeted analysis and reporting
- Coordinate with project managers to align delivery with strategic objectives
Requirements- Proven experience in a retail environment, preferably within a complex retailer
- Strong background with finance systems; Oracle Finance experience is advantageous
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated capability to drive process changes and IT-led initiatives
