Brief

Incremental Group, a Microsoft Inner Circle member and marketing leading IT service platform, came to Forsyth Barnes in the lead up to the IR35 legislation reform in April 2021. They found us through one of our IR35 webinars in need of a compliant and tech-focussed solution for their business.

 

Challenge

Incremental Group engaged contractors under several agreements; they had some direct contracting, with some through agencies and others employing internationally. There were different contracts, arrangements, and complexities regarding the IR35 legislation.

 

Solution

Forsyth Barnes offered a combination of payroll and industry-leading technology solutions to fully cover Incremental Group's requirements. Firstly, to compliantly run Incremental Group's entire contract book, we reviewed and streamlined the contracts for services they were running on, liaising with key stakeholders at Incremental throughout the process to ensure the arrangements reflected the reality of the working practice. Then, we engaged each contractor in the process and ran determinations on our platform. Finally, we provided full insurance against each engagement and payrolled as a full end-to-end compliance solution. We have run upwards of 20 contractors for Incremental Group in the 12 months since, continuing to support their growth across their contract book.
