One nomination wasn’t enough. Forsyth Barnes took the stage with four at the EMC Awards presentation.
Forsyth Barnes are not only taking the south by storm, they’re making marks in the midlands and the north too. Shortly after being listed as the UK’s number one recruitment consultancy in the Startups 100 index for 2017, they took the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce awards presentation by storm too. Being nominated for not one, or two, or three, but four of the evening’s awards.
Forsyth Barnes particularly impressed judges with the Outstanding Growth Award nomination, growing rapidly last year, demonstrating that their business is developing and establishing itself across the UK as well as overseas, with customers spanning multiple continents, worldwide.
The second nomination was for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Managing Partner and heading up the teams in Nottingham, Scott Parsons was a deserving finalist for this award. Scott has continually excelled from the start of his recruitment career, quickly becoming the top biller across an organisation with around 100 consultants and multiple offices. Scott progressed into team management leading the fastest growing team and most profitable division within the business, and his entrepreneurial spirit and drive to create careers is second to none. Teams, divisions and companies have grown significantly with Scott’s support and expertise, and he has continued to demonstrate the same level of entrepreneurialism throughout the first two years of Forsyth Barnes.
Their third nomination for the Business Improvement through Technology Award was also well-deserved. They’ve implemented advanced technology platforms, improving efficiency and reducing administration. From the customised CRM system to the wireless telephone platform, the reporting applications, and even the time saving technology tools they’ve invested in to save their staff and therefore customers, time.
The fourth finalist nomination was for the Commitment to People Development Award. Finalists for this award were to demonstrate how their business focusses on developing staff. Forsyth Barnes have seen an impressive percentage of promotions since inception, and they have continued to train and develop their staff from graduates throughout the growth of their business. The ongoing successes and the high staff retention are both a testament to the people development culture at Forsyth Barnes and it’s the nomination they are most proud of.
Managing Partners at Forsyth Barnes were ecstatic with their nominations and are looking forward to the awards evening in September.
