Forsyth Barnes: Winner of EMC’s Business Improvement Through Technology Award 2018 & 2019

A sea of tuxedos, glamorous dresses and great glass trophies; it must be the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce Business Awards!

The FB team came from all over the country to attend the stunning Gala Dinner at the Nottingham Belfry Hotel to await the announcement of ‘Business Improvement Through Technology 2019’, an award that Forsyth Barnes have been nominated for and won previously.

As the team arrived, the nerves and excitement started to build. With bow ties to rearrange and faces to powder, FBers made their way with Champagne in hand to their allocated table.

The team was made up by a whole mixture of people from Directors and Partners to Consultants and HR staff. This really sums up the culture of FB that everybody has a job to do and everybody makes a difference!

After an inspirational speech from current EMC president Kevin Harris, it was time to enjoy some great hospitality and a 3-course meal.

The menu was delicious; a cheesy delight of goats’ cheese, beetroot and trimmings to start and then a succulent chicken breast main with seasonal vegetables. And then… it was time.

As the first category to be announced by the talented and engaging Tara Campbell, Forsyth Barnes at least did not have to wait too long under such high anticipation.

The nominees were introduced which included fellow local companies ‘The Robot Exchange’ and ‘RISK Health and Safety’.

And the winner is…

Forsyth Barnes!

Cheering, clapping, screaming; to say that we were excited and unbelievably happy is an understatement.

As we all made our way to the stage, the judges’ comments were read out, the trophy and certificate was presented, and Director Scott Parsons made a speech.

Scott expertly summed up how much the EMC means to us as a Scale Up Business in the East Midlands and how we are truly honoured to have won such a prestigious and important award, 2 years in a row!

FB prides it’s self on using new cutting-edge technology to increase business efficiency, accuracy and speed for our consultants, candidates and clients alike.

Having received our award first, we were able to fully sit back, relax and enjoy what was a fantastic evening of great business winning great awards in a great venue.
