Forsyth Barnes DE has partnered with a global ICT leader on their next chapter.  They specialise in advanced technical research, architecture evolution design and strategic technical planning within Cyber Security.  We're searching for an experienced research engineer with a strong background in Autosar (Adaptive Autosar, Classic Autosar) and cyber security.  The role will be focussing in the Automotive field and focus on improving the security standards set by Autosar.
It will be your job as an Automotive Cyber Security Specialist to research important security technologies for the automotive industry, in areas of access control, software over the air update, and autonomous driving etc.  
This role within the Cyber Security Team will involve running analysis on Adaptive Autosar, delivering technical reports on state of art, industry methodologies and best practices, and Software design with simple PoC to demonstrate the capabilities of any prototypes produced.
Skills/ Qualifications R&D Background is essential Strong knowledge Adaptive Autosar
5+ years R&D experience in IT security and Cyber Security
Deep understanding of security areas like access control, crypto, OS security and Sandbox/Sandboxing
Knowledge of SELinux Linux Security, Android security etcExcellent communication skills
Team lead experience
Cyber Security experience, at least in one area like access control or system security
Knowledge on security mechanisms of SElinux, QNX, Android or related
Experience in Adaptive Autosar, or Service Oriented Architecture is a plus
Good knowledge of writing code using C++
Excellent communication skills, team-work spirit and independent working capabilities
Fluent written and spoken English skills
It would be great if:  C++ Development experience
cgroups, Linux namespaces, Systemd, apparmor, UAC
This is a research role and there is a big focus on R&D
