Brief Overview:
Forsyth Barnes are currently working with a Marketing, Brand & Communications Group to secure their next Strategy Director to be based in Manchester or Leeds.  
The Strategy Director will be leading the delivery in media strategy across a wide range of clients. It will be the Strategy Director's responsibility to ask the right questions to gain insight into consumer behaviour and generate creative media strategies to achieve client objectives.
As Strategy Director you will work with Client Services to develop a clear brief of client context, including objectives and key performance indicators, and critically assess and interpret consumer behaviour and its economic, technical and psychological context to derive insights. Using that insight the Strategy Director will generate and conceptualise solutions, developing a campaign strategy and justify its expected delivery against objectives.
With your experience in strategic planning and marketing communications you will be able to pro-actively train and develop teams in strategic planning principles approach. The Strategy Director will also work with Channel partners to review opportunities and applications for channel developments and emerging channels.

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience working in Strategic Planning providing strategic brand and business counsel to senior clients; creating opportunities for brands in social channels.
A great track record of building brands through a range of approaches, including advertising, social media, CRM, search, innovation, and media and connections planning.
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and to foster a shared sense of ownership and success.
Strong experience in writing creative briefs and briefing creative and other agency teams; as well as a history of pitching and winning business from new and existing clients.
