Title: Social Media Manager
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Benefits
My client, a leading retailer, is looking for a Social Media Manager to be responsible for developing and implementing a social media strategy for the leading retailer across Paid and Organic Social channels with a considerable budget management responsibility. This role will be responsible for ensuring the execution of all relevant social media channels, with a particular focus on growing the paid social activity.
You will be expected to work closely with senior board members to create unique social media / marketing campaigns that no one has seen before! This is an important and exciting role with a business that operate in a fast paced environment; the brand really is at the heart of everything they do and the Social Media Manager will be key aspect of this.
Social Media Manager – Key Responsibilities:
Developing and leading the organic social strategy to ensure it aligns with commercial and marketing objectives.
Ensure that coordinators are engaging in conversations with followers and members across all UK and international social channels in order to have a more active presence and boost engagement.
Growing the paid social activity through a test and learn strategy to meet agreed KPIs
Take responsibility for the data integrity within our social media channels, including working with different functions, when necessary to troubleshoot tracking and feed issues.
Be the subject matter expert within Marketing on all things social that drives sales and revenue, taking responsibility for performance commentary and weekly reporting.
Schedule clear, concise and creative weekly content all social media channels to support key business objectives.
Monitor performance social media channels and compile weekly reports that will be shared across the business.
Track and monitor social media influence from campaigns, promotions and hashtags.
Social Media Manager – Key requirements:
Experience in a consumer facing environment (Ideally Retail).
Hands on experience in running organic and paid campaigns.
Experience in managing a team. (1-2 people)
Able to think out the box and drive social media presence.
