The Role as a Product Manager:
Collate with the Head of Product in Setting Strategy
Be responsible for setting your product's vision and strategy in collaboration with the Head of Product and Managing Director.
Clearly articulate the business value to the product team so everyone understands the intent behind a new product or an enhancement to an existing product.
Coordinate all of the activities required to bring new functionality to market.
Provides information for management by answering questions and requests.
Assist in management of product profitability and commercial success.
Translate product strategy into planned work working with the Head of Product, defining what the team will deliver and the time-line for implementation.
Managing the release process and dependencies in and across releases to complete release phases and milestone
Bridging gaps between different functions within the company and aligning key teams.
Introduce and market new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, marketing, and development.
Support the Head of Product in developing, and curating ideas that will deliver value to customers.
Determine which ideas should be promoted into features to push the product strategy forward with the Head of Product.
Ensure that feedback and requests are seamlessly integrated into the product planning and development processes.
Communicate the status of ideas back to the customers, partners, and internal team members who submitted them.
Constantly evaluating solutions to ensure they solve problems using both quantitative and qualitative measures.
Prioritise features by ranking them against the strategic goals and initiatives along with the Head of Product.
Make difficult decisions based on the value new features will deliver to your customers and to the business.
Supporting the Head of Product in defining the requirements for each feature and the desired user experience
Work closely with the Head of Product, Head of Technology and Head of Development on the technical specifications and ensure that teams have all of the information they need to deliver a complete product to market.
Work closely with our users, and customer success teams to understand the requirements and deliver a product which disrupts the market.
Your profile and what you can bring to our client:
Proven experience of being client facing in a similar role
Full computer literacy and comfort in tech facing role (G Suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM, etc)
Worked in a similar role for the past 4 years ideally
A results and data driven mind-set, a self-starter that is excellent at multi-tasking
Excellent communication in clear and concise way
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven experience in a B2B SaaS Business, ideally in startup or scaleup
Excellent time management skills, setting and keeping to project time-scales keeping to deadlines.
