Our client is building world-class technology to help businesses support landlords in
maintaining and building the highest yielding and best accommodation for tenants across the UK.

We're on the lookout for a brilliant remote Lead Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their small but quickly growing technical team. Some parts of the technology were built by external partners, but our clients are currently moving this tech in-house. Join them on their journey.
They have a brilliant in-house team you will work closely with developers, product specialists, a UI/UX expert and more.
You will be part of a small but growing team solving a very real and complex problem. They value open communication, an entrepreneurial approach, curiosity and efficiency.
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be:
Writing code on a daily basis, adapting to changing priorities and business needs
Responsible for good architecture (maintainable, performant, testable etc.)
Promoting good development practices within the team, ensuring quality code and mentoring junior developers amongst other duties

Passionate about technology, keeps up to date with the latest advances
Superb problem analysis and solving skills
A critical thinker with superb problem analysis and solving skills
Open to opinions of others and constructively discusses solutions to find the best one
Comfortable in a fast-paced start-up environment
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
Open minded and willing to learn

5+ years in web application development (full stack)
JavaScript (ES6+ and/or TypeScript)
React (Redux a plus)
HTML 5 and CSS 3
SQL and PostgreSQL
Good knowledge of testing (including unit, integration and performance)
Experienced working in agile teams
Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle
Can conduct code reviews and make sure issues are resolved swiftly
Experienced developing RESTful APIs

Good to have
Experience with geospatial/polygon mapping technology e.g. PostGIS, ESRI
ArcMap, QGIS, GDAL etc.
Python 3 and any AI/ML related libraries e.g. Scikit-learn, TensorFlow etc.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure e.g. AWS
Knowledge of DevOps processes and tools e.g. Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
Project management skills
