Title: Java Technical Team Lead
Location: Manchester – 3 days a week required in officeSalary: £80,000 + Bonus/BenefitsContact:     Brief Overview:  
Forsyth Barnes are working with a global technology company, who specialises in gaming, specifically market leading Virtual sports, mobile gaming and server-based gaming systems. They currently have 4 office locations across the UK and further offices within America and India, and are continuing to grow as they go through this very successful period.
They are currently looking for a Java Technical Team Lead to lead a small team, of developers and QA's, who can still work in a hands on environment  on their markets leading products whilst giving technical knowledge and guidance to more junior team members.
Java Technical Lead – Responsibilities:
Work closely with the developers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach.
Coordinating closely with your team to stay aligned on business goals and make sure your squad is progressing and delivering against them.
Supporting and coaching your squad to reach their highest technical levels.
Co-Ordinate with Product Owner to prioritise the backlog of user stories and clearly communicating what needs to be done and by when
Ensuring software quality, system scalability and high availability through architectural decisions, best practices and the management of the QA function
Collaborate with DevOps to build a comprehensive set of CI/CD pipelines that allow the team to deliver features on a continual basis.

Java Technical Lead – Required Skills/Experience:
Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
Well-rounded experience with Java frameworks including Hibernate/JPA and Spring, Spring Boot, Maven Docker etc
Experience using cloud based server-less technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure)
SQL (Oracle, SQL Server), NoSQL (MongoDB)
Good understanding of key AGILE concepts and/or experience with leading or operating in an AGILE environment.
