HR Manager – Learning, Development & Performance Manager  
Location – Hybrid role with accessibility to be in our office in London or Nottingham 2 days per week.  
Reporting to – Global Head of HR

We are seeking a driven and passionate HR Manager to join our team to support the People Function.  
The Role
L&D – You will be responsible for the implementation of an innovative, global learning and development service to all areas of the business. Some responsibilities L&D Support, develop and create a global learning, development and performance strategy including the review, recommendation and implementation of how to integrate with existing HR systems and where we may need a standalone system specific for L&D.  
Stake Holders – Work closely with the line managers to conduct ongoing training needs across the business working with the head of HR to map out an attraction and retention strategy and establishing appropriate talent planning.  
Training – Help to develop training plans and career pathways so employees can progress within the business. Training – Lead the line manager forums to help develop our line managers into strong people managers. Performance Deliver a leading performance strategy in conjunction with the Global Head of HR. Working with the line managers on PDR, talent and succession management and ensure the policies and processes are followed  
Performance – assist the managers with any matters relating to performance that may end in promotions, performance management or failure/extension of probations. HR Governance making sure the vital basics are covered and our HR processes are correctly managed. Application of our policies in a fair way and the ability to continuously assess the effectiveness of our policies and recommend appropriate policy improvement.
Employee Relations – Delivering outstanding people support and guidance communicated in a simple way that supports the business aims. Actively manage employee relations issues at first stages up to resolution or the need to escalate as required. Coaching and risk-management of employee relations including; probationary periods, absence, disciplinary & grievance investigations and capability processes. Working in collaboration with our managers on the most sensitive cases. Working with our managers to make sure the wider team is kept engaged and up to date on any organisation changes or people/HR related coms. Working with the Head of HR but being accountable for the ability to share employee analysis, highlight trends & identify insights from data including turnover, absence, engagement surveys, exit and stay interviews.  
Culture & Engagement Engagement – work with our managers to ensure engagement and retention of staff is high, coming up with initiatives to turnover low Build a positive culture where people are proud to work for the business.  
Who we're looking for…  
HR – Previous experience in a senior HR advisor or HR Manager role A passion for companies that have a positive social impact Able to work autonomously – we will give you all the tools you need to succeed, but being a fast-growth start-up we take ownership of our work and would need you to do the same Enthusiasm and drive to succeed in your own career and in the growth of the company Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing environment and think outside the box to problem solve efficiently and creatively Studying or recently qualified CIPD Ideally,
Any sector experience (we are a Global Retail Brand) – or companies with high levels of change and pace Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise and adapt  
Excellent attention to detail and ability to retain knowledge Proactive, confident and enthusiastic  
Ability to treat all matters with absolute confidentiality and integrity a professional, diplomatic and friendly manner  
Effective written and oral communication skills Good PC skills with an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Calm under pressure If you think you have some of these skills but could demonstrate the right behaviours in others, please apply.
