Brief Overview:
Forsyth Barnes have partnered with an exciting Retail organisation who are expanding at an incredible rate. The business have a number of Brands which sit under the group and are looking to expand through further mergers and acquisitions. The business is currently valued at £50m and is expected to reach £500m in 3-4 years' time. The business is now looking for a Group Operations Director to help drive the business forward with focus on Supply chain, Logistics, Carriers, 3PL, WMS, ERP and the wider Operations piece.
Group Operations Director – Responsibilities:
Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures;
Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth;
Establish policies that promote company culture and vision;
Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives;
Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication;
Work with the senior leadership team to drive business growth both top line and bottom line;
Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics;
Manage relationships with partners/vendors;
Be a sponsor of the use of technology across the organisation, including leading the evaluation, procurement, and integration of an industry-standard ERP system, alongside developments of the company eCommerce platform;
To ensure the businesses structure provides the platform for extensive and sustainable growth
Work closely with existing suppliers and develop new partners to effectively manage inventory to deliver our growth targets.

Group Operations Director – Requirements:
Extensive experience across stock management, warehouse management, logistics and operational efficiency.
DTC experience is a must have, ideally within the apparel sector  
Experience working within a hyper growth environment
ERP experience (Deployment and Use)
Experience working in a fast-paced eCommerce environment in global supply chain/stock control/operations is essential
An excellent communicator with a skill for managing people
