Title: Category Planning Manager  
Location: Hybrid – West Midlands
Salary: Up to £80,000 DOE + benefits

Brief Overview:  
As a Category Planning Manager, you will manage the supply base to ensure the availability of products to support forecasted demand requirements and new product development plans. You will also ensure inventory management objectives and customer service levels are met across your categories.

Category Planning Manager Responsibilities:
Supporting National buying strategies for ne produce introductions; including end of life, discontinuation, substitutions and product forecasting.
Communication – ensuring flow of correspondence with internal and external parties including issues and updates
Forecasting – both new and repeat forecasting across products, including order volume suggestions within stores/geographical regions
Engaging with suppliers to improve KPIs alongside national buying teams
Identifying / initating re-allocations of stock within stores / DCS

Category Planning Manager Requirements:
Proven management level experience
Computer literate – including Microsoft Office (Excel)
Great time management, communication, change management and leadership skills
Ability to work within a fast paced, high-pressure environment
An understanding of wider Supply Chain processes
Ability to use data/ analytics for informed decisions / forecasting
