Title: C# Technical Lead
Location: Burton on Trent – 3 days a week required in officeSalary: £80K + BenefitsContact:     Brief Overview:  
Forsyth Barnes are working with a large gaming organisation who have an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Lead to manage the day-to-day workload of a small team (3 .NET Devs + 1 QA), whilst working closely with key stake holders – Architecture Team, Product team, other technical leads, and to be responsible for developing a visual player facing product.
The role would suit somebody with strong C#/.Net/WPF skills, object oriented design skills and ideally experience working with windows presentation framework. A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a growing organisation and enjoy a rewarding career.
C# Technical Lead – Responsibilities:
Development – Design, build and maintain efficient and reliable C# code
Identify code that would benefit from further unit testing and improvements
Leadership – co-ordinate closely with your team and stay aligned with business goals
Maintain a comprehensive set of CI'CD pipelines that allow the team to deliver features on a continual basis
Technical – work closely with the other developers in the team to architect and develop the best design and approach
Ensure the best performance, quality and responsiveness of applications is driven by the team, through best practice and management of QA function

C# Technical Lead – Required Skills/Experience:
Proficient in C#/.NET/Windows development (minimum 5 years) with a good knowledge of its ecosystems, especially .NET Framework 4 and .NET Standard/Core
Demonstrable ability to produce well-structured and maintainable code
Ideally experience previously working on a customer-focused application
Experience with Windows Presentation Framework (WPF) applications and an understanding of the underlying Win32 technologies would be beneficial
Previously worked using Agile concepts, with mentorship/leadership experience of more junior team members
