about the roleTitle: President (Host City for FIFA World Cup)Location: Remote initially, will eventually require relocationSalary: Open for discussionBrief Overview:The FIFA World Cup is coming to the United States!A host city for the World Cup 2026 are looking for a President to lead the efforts of the hosting of 4-6 matches over the course of the tournament. The President will also be in charge of all activities in the City during the event - ensuring that over half a million people are well catered for. From music, to hospitality, to travel & leisure - this opportunity really has it all.The successful President will have proven experience of running and/or leading global and/or national events, such as The Olympic Games, The Paralympic Games or similar. The President must also have previous experience of building teams, infrastructure and operations for events.This role can be done remotely for the first 12-24 months, however will require relocation to the City after this period.Required Skills/Experience:- Proven experience running / leading large scale events- Strong experience in growing / leading teams- An understanding of how to set up the infrastructure and operations to run a successful event
