Acts as Network Project Manager developing and maintaining documentation, follow up, and coordinating meetings and resources. Also plans tasks and deliverables according to business priorities and projects schedule. Regularly exercises discretion & independent judgement and function with minimal day-to-day management. Will have the knowledge and flexibility to manage global teams, sensitive to cultural differences and working habits. Will be responsible for multiple projects at the same time.Key Requirements:
- Equivalent of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Business and 2-5+ years progressively responsible, related experience, including knowledge of project managing telecoms and networks (WAN, LAN, WLAN & Firewalling technologies).
- Must have significant experience of dealing with network carriers / providers and be extensively knowledgeable on the various types and terminology of network connections deployed in a typical multinational group (DSL, Broadband, DIA, P2P, Ethernet, Dark Fiber, LAN Extension etc).
- Must have excellent communication skills with extensive experience of reporting at all levels preferred. Must have the ability to bridge the communication gap between IT and business management.
- Able to interact effectively across organization / diverse cultures, and communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively.
- Strong detail orientation and ability to apply the principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to multi-task and to work under pressure and short timelines.
- Excellent planning, organizing, coordination, presentation, and time and meeting management skills.
- Understands PMI fundamentals, processes and methodologies.
- Strong on MS Office products. Experience with SharePoint, Visio are highly desirable.
- Use and experience of ServiceNow's PPM and Demand modules are highly desirable.
